Objectives and Purpose

Our purpose through the Foundation is to:

• Fund scholarships for campers who embrace Nyoda’s values and demonstrate financial need

• Institute a financial resource and reserve to ensure the ongoing enrichment of campers and counselors by supporting new activities and training

• Establish a healthy Endowment fund, including planned giving

The Foundation at Nyoda is a 501(c)(3) organization

Your donations to the Foundation are tax exempt. All donations to the Endowment Fund can be designated as restricted (only scholarship or education per the choice of the donor) or unrestricted (the Board designates the funds as needed).

WHY SHOULD I DONATE DIRECTLY TO THE FOUNDATION AT NYODA?

• The Foundation can directly impact girls who would otherwise be unable to afford Camp Nyoda

• The Foundation provides the opportunity for alumnae and interested parties to ensure ongoing, uninterrupted enrichment with pre-existing camp activities, as well as the opportunity for campers and counselors to learn new skills
